Make sure your VOICE is heard!!!

The National Youth in Transition Database (NYTD) offers youth a chance to leave a lasting legacy. The only people who truly know what it’s like to be in foster care are the youth who have been there. NYTD is a national effort to obtain youth input and provide it to policy makers by sharing basic information about the services received while in care.

If you are in care when you turn 17, you will have an opportunity to complete a short survey about the basic services you received while in care. Why should I participate? How will it work?
If you took the survey when you were 17, you will have another opportunity to complete a survey when you turn 19. Why again? Not all youth will be in care, but we still need your input.
When you turn 21, you will have another opportunity to complete a survey. Really, two times wasn't enough?Again, not all youth will be in care, so we need you to update your content information.
